Effipro DUO spot-on Cat is an anti-flea and tick product for cats. The drop-stop pipettes contain the active ingredients pyriproxyfen and fipronil. This product works preventively against flea multiplication by preventing the development of adult fleas from flea eggs for 12 weeks after administration. This is because it prevents the development of adult fleas from eggs. In addition, it works against fleas on cats for 5 weeks. The product works for 2 weeks against ticks by effectively treating tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus and Rhipicephalus turanicus). The substance Fipronil is the most widely used flea and tick control agent worldwide. Pyriproxyfen is an insect growth inhibitor. It sterilises adult fleas and prevents immature flea development.
